Established in 1944, Yaroslavl State Medical University is one of the biggest regional centers of medical education, and biomedical research. YSMU is a leader in UG and PG education, training, and research. The University is also a specialist in practical healthcare, medicine, and pharmacy.
Currently, there is 4000 domestic and international students studying at Yaroslavl State Medical University. It has 55 departments that conduct bespoke medical training and education. Hostel and accommodation facilities at YSMU are quite better than other medical schools in Russia. Students can stay in the University hostel at 4000 RUB per year. The University has 5 modern hostels. In a single room, two to three persons can be easily accommodated. Apart from that, the hostels have all modern facilities, such as internet, healthcare center, sports center, gymnasium, medical room, and music club, to name some.
